Sire: LE PRIMEUR stood at Spruce Meadows for many years before his death. He won the 2000 stallion performance test (147.84) with outstanding results in jumping (143.49 - 1st) and dressage (142.56 - 2nd). LE PRIMEUR is a beautiful stallion with excellent gaits and rideability plus excellent form and scope over fences.

Dam: CHARLOTTA passes her fabulous disposition and conformation to her offspring. She has been admired by many trainers and top riders as a talented mare and a joy to ride.

Notes: LE CHARMIER is an impressive young horse taking whatever comes his way with quiet confidence. He has been lightly free jumped and has cantered a small x-rail under saddle. On both occasions he simply took in the situation and went over the fence with no hesitation or fuss. He displays natural rhythm in all three gaits, demonstrating great acceptance of the contact. Le Charmier has an amazing canter and displays stunning movement at the trot when he moves freely. Under saddle he is happy to work to please his rider although, due to his young age, he is not well conditioned. His work sessions have been short, focussing on developing his balance and basic rideability while protecting his developing body. The pairing of CHARLOTTA and LE PRIMEUR has resulted in outstanding offspring. Le Charmier's full sister, LA CHASSE, has been approved by the Hanoverian Verband as an Elite Mare (candidate). She competed in the Young Horse Jumper series as a 5-year-old, winning almost all of her classes. Jumper trainers who see her recognize her scope and dressage trainers identify her FEI-potential movement. Le Charmier appears to be developing in his big sister's footsteps. This outstanding gelding looks to have an amazing career ahead of him in any ring. His movement, disposition, and feel under saddle all show great quality.
