Sire: CAVALIER is a keur KWPN stallion. He was ridden by Franke Sloothaak and competed at the international level under the show name of SAN PATRIGNANO MISTER. Cavalier won more than 40 Grand Prix, Puissance, and speed competitions. A point of interest is that Cavalier is out of the Sina dam line, making Indiana KVS "double" Sina.

Dam: OBLIGEANT II is an imported KWPN Star mare. She is by NIMMERDOR out of a NOTARIS mare. Obligeant's mare line contains multiple predicates. Her dam DERINA is Star Preferent and her granddam is Preferent Prestatie. These predicates indicate that this mare line has not only performed very well in sport but that the offspring of these mares performed very well as jumpers in the Netherlands. What makes Obligeant special is that her dam line is the "Sina" dam line (mare line #20, breeding line #398).This dam line is highly sought after in KWPN pedigrees as it consistently produced many international show jumpers, including MACKINLEY, MODESTO, EMMERTON and, of course, Indiana's sire CAVALIER. Obligeant II produced five offspring for KVS before passing away in the pasture in 2016: CAMELEON KVS competes in the 1.45m jumpers (noteworthy is that Cameleon was sold at the 2010 CWHBA Fall Classic sale as a 3-year-old prospect), HI-TEC KVS is owned by an amateur jumper rider in Alberta, GAZELLE and ANOUK KVS are both valuable broodmares for KVS and, of course, INDIANA KVS.

Notes: INDIANA KVS (aka Indy) is a 6-year-old KWPN registered gelding, bred and owned by KVS Sport Horses. Indiana started showing as a coming 5-year-old in the summer of 2018, placing or winning in every round at the 0.9m and 1.0m levels. He had to take the latter part of the winter off due to an injury and has been back in full training since early June of this year. He currently is in training for the 1.15m level and is ready to restart his showing in the fall. Indy has a wonderful quiet and courageous mind showing good jumping technique and scope. He is very suitable for either an amateur or professional rider. NOTE: Indiana's health record from Moore Equine Veterinary Centre is available on request.
