SELUNE was imported from the Swiss National Stud. In Canada he had an impressive eventing career, all the way up to
the FEI Two Star level, and was long listed for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney
before his untimely death. He has produced
many quality show horses that are especially noted for their great movement
and trainable minds.
Dam: TOOSHIMA
is a lovely Canadian Warmblood mare who has produced several talented offspring
with the ability for both dressage and jumping. Her sire is the Swiss Warmblood, IRIS DE NOTRE DAME, who is noted
for producing offspring with beautiful heads and necks.
Notes: TUNGSTEN, aka CISCO, is a happy, personable horse with a great character. He has started his show career and has an impressive array of top placings in the hunter ring up to 3', and is always in the ribbons in the hack classes. He has beautiful hunter movement with a long, daisy-cutter trot and an easy to gauge canter. He has free jumped to 4' and shows picture-perfect technique with power and scope for more. When you push CISCO up into the bridle, he instantly becomes more engaged from behind and turns into a lovely dressage horse with animation, a higher neck set, and an uphill, powerful canter.
