Sire:  LANDWIND II is a son of the Holsteiner foundation stallion, LANDGRAF I, who consistently passes on his phenomenal jumping technique.  At the 1990 World Championship in Stockholm, four LANDGRAF I offspring took part, one of them was the KWPN stallion LIBERO H.  LANDWIND II's dam, PAMIR H, was sired by the Holsteiner FASOLT, who is well known for his sons FAIR PLAY and SANYO TECHNOLOGY, winner of the 1985 World Cup in Den Bosch.  LANDWIND II himself has produced numerous offspring competing at a wide range of levels.  One being the eight-year-old NIVOLINUS, ridden by Markus Fuchs, that competed in the 1.50m divisions at Spruce Meadows during the 2003 Summer Tournaments.

Dam:  UROSA is sired by the Preferent Thoroughbred stallion, ERDBALL.  ERDBALL also sired KWPN stallion TRITON.  TRITON earned a score of nine for free jumping and for jumping under saddle, and produced UTV Championship mares as well as show jumpers such as BONAPARTE, TRITON GIRL, and ROYAL STAR.  On her dam's side, she carries the blood of JURIST.  LUROSA's dam lineage has produced numerous good sport horses, as well as KWPN stallion prospects.

Notes:  LUROSA was imported to Canada in 1994 as a yearling and was lightly broke at the age of three.  Since then, she has been producing foals.  Her first foal, ROCKEFELLER by FAUST Z, was sold at the Canadian Warmblood Fall Classic Sale as a yearling.  Her second colt, TRAVOLTA by OLYMPIC FERRO, is listed in this sale catalog as a performance horse.  In 2002, she bore a bay filly by LARINO, and the following year a beautiful colt by the Dutch pinto stallion SANDSTORM.  All her offspring have been beautiful types with flowing movements and exceptional characters.  LUROSA carries KWPN papers as well as a First Premium evaluation score for the Canadian Warmblood.  She will be a great asset to any breeding program, as well as an older riding horse in the future.  LUROSA is in foal to the High Scoring CWHBA Licensed Dutch Pinto Stallion, SANDSTORM by VOLTAIRE for a May 2004 foal.
