Sire: DALNOMER, a black, approved Canadian Trakehner
stallion standing 16.1hh, was winner of the 1996 Canadian Trakehner Performance
Award. DALNOMER offers grace,
refinement, and unforgettable presence in the dressage ring. He moves with rythmic, elastic, and ground
covering gaits. He has a sweet
temperament and good conformation. DALNOMER
won the BC Championship, shown to the FEI levels by a Young Rider. Dam: EVA, a chestnut Hessen mare standing 17hh,
was imported to Canada from Germany in 1990.
EVA is a member of a horse family the Weitzel's have been raising
in their family for more than 60 years.
Her Hanoverian and Trakehner bloodlines carry a double relationship
to the famous Trakehner stallion, HUMBOLD.
This horse family consistently produces horses who display good
rideability, good mind, quiet disposition, and solid build. EVA's family in Germany has produced many good
sport horses who competed in jumping, dressage, cross-country, and fox
hunting. The Weitzel's intend
to continue their family tradition of breeding good sport horses from
this horse line. Notes: FALKNER was born and raised on Crystal Springs
Ranch in Northern BC. He looks
proud and healthy. He was started
in 2002 and is now being trained by a professional rider since March 2003. FALKNER shows a great attitude towards work
and is willing to learn. His movements
are rhythmic and elastic. He is
working at basic dressage and jumping over 3'.
He loads easily into the trailer and travels well and quiet. His name was given to him in memory of a great
sport horse out of our horse family, a good companion to his owner until
he passed at the age of 29. This
FALKNER is destined to live up to his namesake. |
