Sire: OXFORD has 5 World Top sires in his first 3
generations! i.e. BURGGRAAF, VOLTAIRE,
LANDGRAF, COR DE LA BREYERE, FURIOSO II, and also the famous UPPERCUT
xx , GOTTHARD, and MARCO POLO. OXFORD
has won championships in hunter, jumper (Level 5), and has sired Young
Horse Champions at the Foal Futurities.
In 2000 he was listed by AHSA as '6th Leading Sire in Hunter Breeding
Classes'. OXFORD is well noted for his exceptional quality,
temperament, and versatility, which he consistently passes on to his offspring.
OXFORD scored '10' for character, '9's for temperament and willingness
to work, and '8's & '9's for jumping technique and scope!
When 'blood will tell', OXFORD's pedigree is without a doubt one
of the best in North America. OXFORD's
first competing offspring, TOMMY and PALE MOON RISING, have recently won
championships in starter and 3' hunters.
OXFORD also sired the record-setting high selling colt at the 2002
CWHBA sale, VILLENEUVE QV, and the high selling yearling, UPHORIA QV. Dam: AEROMAX QV, aka MAXINE, is a big sound mare with excellent legs and
feet. She comes from a mare line
of good keepers, good milkers and good producers, and with exceptional
fertility. AEROMAX's first filly by OXFORD tied for 2nd
place in the CWHBA Foal Futurity of 2001, and was sold to Pennsylvania
at 8 months. MAXINE's first colt by OXFORD was the record setting high
selling weanling at the 2002 Fall Classic Breeders' Sale. Notes: WILHEM Q.V. is a big boned, athletic colt with
a curious, gentle nature. He comes
from top international show jumping bloodlines. WILHEM also has the agility and movement to become a competitive
dressage mount. |
