Sire:  Former member of the Hanoverian State Stud "Prussian" Quadrille, ARKANSAS has produced conformation and performance champions in both Germany and Canada.  Noted for his elegant top line and excellent rideability, he is a prepotent sire passing on his type and ability to his children and grandchildren.  Grandsons, ESCUDO I (Champion Hanoverian Stallion) and EDGAR (WBFSH 7 year old Champion) are keeping his name in the forefront in Europe where his direct offspring have earned nearly 200,000DM.  In North America, sons and daughters, such as champion conformation mares ALLELUAH, ALESIA, and ANJOO, along with performance champions in dressage and over fences such as ABRAXIS, ALL THE MARBLES, PICASO, and ALHAMBRE have made him one of Canada's most popular Warmblood sires.  He has the largest number of registered CWHBA offspring and is the leading money earning foal futurity sire.

Dam:  DANCING TEAR was an exceptional moving mare who scored very well on inspection.  She promised to produce exceptional horses for the sport, but an accident cut her life short, with her having only produced SWEET EMILY.  The blood of NORTHERN DANCER, great race horse and producer of horses for the sport, lives on in EMILY.

Notes:  SWEET EMILY started her broodmare career as a 2 year old.  She is a tall, good-looking, modern mare who has produced two very correct, modern fillies.  Stylish, well-bred, carrying the combination of the best blood of Europe and North America, she is a broodmare to be proud of.  Offered at foot is her 2003 filly by MJ FUSION, and EMILY is bred back to MJ FUSION for a June 2004 foal.  Licenced as a two year old MJ FUSION spent his 3 year old year in the breeding shed, producing several excellent conformation and moving foals.  He has spent his working time preparing for the stallion performance test in late August.  He has a 9 canter, good form over fences and an excellent disposition.  He is a tribute to both his Dutch and Hanoverian pedigree.  Refer to the notes on EMILY's foal, LILLY OH FAIR, for more information on MJ FUSION.
