Sire:  MAJOR WON is a grandson of the great NORTHERN DANCER, and was used by leading Warmblood breeders in Canada to add refinement and athleticism to their breeding programs.  He has sired many successful performance horses and his influence is evident in many of the top breeding programs in the country.

Dam:  PHOEBE, a Westfalen mare, was imported in utero and has several German State Premium mares and famous German sires in her pedigree.  Her sire, the black stallion PARCOURS, was by PARADOX I, the famous Westfalen foundation sire heralded for his progeny and influence on the breed.  PHOEBE's dam, DANA, was a State Premium mare, producing many champions including LARGO (by LEMGO), ridden by Leslie Reid.  DANA's grandsire, DAVOS, was sired by DUELLANT, a stallion that had great expression, enormous trotting movement, a robust nature and left his mark on almost every German breed.

Notes:  MAGGIE, a rich chestnut mare, has been a mainstay of the Aspelund Ridge breeding program, producing five outstanding offspring, two of which have been retained in our breeding program.  She represents a rare opportunity to acquire a MAJOR WON mare carrying some of the most sought after German bloodlines.  MAGGIE is in foal to the exciting new stallion, REGARDEZ.  REGARDEZ, by REGAZZONI by RUBINSTEIN, completed his 100-day test in Muenster, Westphalia in 1999.  He received all 9's for rideability, temperament, and willingness to work, which contributed to a remarkable dressage index of 128.4.
