Sire: GIRONDIN DU PICHOUX, a multiple winner of Grand Prix Jumper classes himself, is a full brother to the internationally ranked jumper, GALANT XVIII. His grandsire sired the Swedish Warmblood elite stallion, CEYLON 454, that is ancestor to the dressage horse, ILON. This sire line is also responsible for the Swedish dressage sire, URBINO 430, and Alison Firestone’s jumper, CASANOVA.

Dam: LEADER'S RULE traces to the sport ancestors NORTHERN DANCER, HASTY ROAD, NASRULLAH, and MY BABU. She is also linebred to SIR GALLAHAD III and the remarkable NEARCO. Hunters, jumpers, and dressage horses can be found under the list of descendants fromthese sires. From the 2000 Olympics, six eventing medallists trace to NASRULLAH, two medal-winning eventers and the remarkable BONFIRE (Olympic gold in dressage) trace to MY BABU and ten medallists trace to NEARCO, including the individual gold medallist in jumping, a team bronze medallist in dressage and all three individual medallists in eventing.

Notes: GESUNDHEIT LEIBEN is even better looking than her Premium ranked dam, LEADER’S RULE. She shows outstanding movement, excellent size (she’s going to be a big mare!), and is soundly built. All this, with a good temperament, in a mare with a super pedigree. Here is an opportunity to purchase a very talented performance horse who also has fabulous potential as a broodmare in the future.
