Sire: TANGO SELUNE was of Selle Francais lineage; carried jumping, eventing plus dressage blood; and was long-listed for the Canadian eventing team before his untimely demise. MAZARIN V sired the internationally ranked jumper UNIE D’ESPOIR. His grandsire, FAIR PLAY III, is the sire of the international jumpers, NARCOTIQUE and LARRY II (like MAZARIN V, out of a TANAEL daughter), and his sire’s broodmare sire, TANAEL, sired the internationally ranked dressage horse, MAGNOLIA DU MONT.

Dam: IRIS' grandsire, ARTICHAUT, combines 2 formidable influences, PLEIN D'ESPOIRS and FURIOSO xx, and is ancestor to Heather Caristo’s internationally ranked jumper, FAR WEST. Her Thoroughbred dam brings FORLI (grandsire of the Hanoverian Approved, PRINCE THATCH, andancestor to horses at the international level), BOLD RULER (ancestor to numerous sporthorses), VALAIS REGINA (dam of JET RUN’s sire) and PRECIPTIC (ancestor to numerous sporthorses and, like FURIOSO xx, a son of PRECIPITATION).

Notes: TABU is, in essence, of Selle Francais heritage - most of her ancestors are either Selle Francais or Thoroughbred, and a good number of them are found in top sport pedigrees. TABU is jumping 2ft 6ins with no problem and loves it. She is an excellent hunter/jumper or eventing prospect. Just a hair off 16hh, she is a good looking mare for anyone to be proud of.
