Sire: WERMISZEL, aka MITCH, was a quality bay stallion born at the Liski State Stud Farm in Poland.MITCH placed well in dressage, combined training, hunter, and jumper classes in major shows MITCH consistently passed on his gentle disposition and good temperament and has produced . winners in hunter, jumper, and dressage. He was awarded the NATA Stallion of Merit Award in1990 and will be sadly missed by the Trakehner world.

 

Dam: MARKEEZA, as a 2 year old, achieved Alberta Classic Bred at the Alberta Horse Improvement Program. Since then, she has been busy producing foals. She passes on her sweet temperament andgood looks to her offspring, along with athletic movement.

 

 

Notes: MARKOVA, aka CARROT, has shown herself to be a "Jack of All Trades". In 2001, her first year of showing, she was always in the ribbons and won her Hunter Division first time out. She has extensive schooling on the flat and is doing her changes at the canter. She has won classes in Basic Dressage. This 2002 show season, CARROT has been introduced to the cross-country course and will have some competitions under her belt by sale time. She is an enthusiastic jumper and is bold. She is well suited for juniors or for the rider who wants to seriously compete over fences. She is schooling at 3'6" fences and has a natural aptitude for figuring out height and distance. CARROT trailers well and is very honest. A combination of good looks, love for jumping and willingness CARROT is a real winner!
