Eligible Horses
Horses eligible for nomination must be registered Canadian Warmblood
or registered in the "foal" or "general" book
with one of the following: Baden-Wurttemburg, Dutch Warmblood, Hannoverian,
Hessen, Holstein, Oldenburg, Rheinland, Rheinland-Pfalz-Saat, Swiss
Warmblood, Swedish Warmblood, Danish Warmblood, Westfalian, American
Hannoverian, Belgian Warmblood, Weilkopolski, Trakehner, Selle Francais,
or, in the case of Thoroughbred, Arab, or Anglo-Arab horses be a:
- Mare that has been inspected
and entered into the CWHBA Stud Book and confirmed to be in foal
by a Stallion that is licensed or approved by the CWHBA.
- Stallion that has been
inspected and entered in the CWHBA Stud Book.

Horse must be Canadian born, except in the case of broodmares.

Performance horses (Section B) must be 8 years and under. Broodmares
(Section A) must be 15 years and under.

Owner must be a CWHBA member in good standing.

For Warmblood Registered horses, nominated horse must be the offspring
of a Stallion licensed or approved by a recognized Warmblood registry
AND the offspring of a Mare inspected by a recognized Warmblood
registry.

Pregnant mares must meet breed eligibility requirements and be
covered by a stallion entered in the CWHBA studbook. You will be
required to confirm pregnancy within 21 days prior to the sale.
