Sire: VAULTAIR is an elegant Hannoverian with an
ideal topline. His tremendous
movement, combined with excellent jumping talent, scored the top marks
at the 1999 CWHBA Stallion Licensing.
VAULTAIR's pedigree combines the best performance bloodlines in
the World; VOLTAIRE, FURIOSO, GOTTHARD, CALYPSO, and COR DE LA BRYERE
- from the same family as ALTAIR and PLAY IT AGAIN.
VAULTAIR's sire, VOLTAIRE, was ranked 9th in the top 50 sires in
the ten years from 1991 to 2000, and was represented by an impressive
28 jumpers in the World Breeding Federation for Sporthorses standings
for 2000/2001. VAULTAIR's dam, CORA, is by CALYPSO II, a Holstein stallion by COR
DE LA BRYERE. CALYPSO II was also
an international show jumping competitor. Dam: HORIZON GAMBLER is a young broodmare, 16HH,
dark bay, from tried-and-true Thoroughbred jumping lines. Injury at three prevented her from realizing
her potential in equine sports, but she has produced two foals by VAULTAIR
(we will be retaining the 2002 filly for our future breeding program),
and one by EASTERN RULER. Her
foals have been consistently beautiful, correct, and athletic with loose,
swinging gaits and an overall high quality appearance. Notes: VEGAS SV is a gorgeous, nearly black, 16HH gelding. He is developing quite a personality - very sociable with people and other horses. VEGAS has been under saddle since April of this year. His wonderful, athletic gaits, combined with his charming personality, will make him a wonderful campaigner for any amateur. |
