Sire:  ADVOCAT is an ARGENTAN son.  ARGENTAN was a foundation sire for the Hannoverian breed, with many champion daughters and sons, including ARGENTINUS, who is ranked highly in the WBFSH for both dressage and jumping.  Also included in ADVOCAT's pedigree is DON CARLOS, the sire of DON JUAN and DON CARLO.  This sire line is very strong in jumping ability.

Dam:  The mare line, largely Dutch, is equally strong in jumping notables.  LE MEXICO, who has ranked highly for a number of years, is the son of MEXICO, a full brother to FURIOSO II.  On the dam line, AMOR is also a ranked jumper.

Notes:  A TOUT PRIX is a mare that was bred to jump.  She competed in Europe before being imported to Canada in the year 2000.  Since arriving in Canada her role has been that of broodmare.  The depth of her pedigree allows a wide scope in choosing the sire of her foals.  She has produced 1 filly and 1 colt to date.  A TOUT PRIX was bred May 11, 2004 to GERVANTUS II who was imported in 2003.  GERVANTUS II retired in 1999 from a successful grand prix show jumping career.  Like his sire, GRANNUS, his foals have received numerous premium awards.  The foal of 2005 could be the one we all wait for, an international star, with a pedigree to match those found in Europe.
