Sire: SHADOWFAX was one of the foundation sires of
the Canadian Warmblood. A grandson
of GOTTHARD, he remained superbly sound and athletic well into his 20's. He consistently passed on his reliability and
his admirable disposition. Dam: AIRIELLE is a premium Canadian Warmblood mare
that scored 8's for her neck and saddle position. She showed valuable correctness of gaits and
a lovely ground-covering walk. STARBUCKS is Airielle's first foal. Notes: STARBUCKS is a wonderful example of the classic type of Warmblood horse. Old fashioned bloodlines typified of GOTTHARD on top and ABSATZ on the bottom side combine to make her a very interesting individual as a performance horse or as a foundation broodmare. She would be an excellent cross with the exciting modern type sires now in fashion. It is not easy getting the foundation mare type such as this one for a modern production program. She has abundant bone, correct conformation and very fluid, elastic movements. Her bold personality combined with her athleticism makes her a strong individual for both the jumper and dressage ring.
