Sire:  COEUR DE LION had two sons presented recently at the CSHA inspection; CALLLEBAULT was 2nd place and COEUR DE CHASSE was 3rd place.  Several of his offspring were successful at the Breeders' Classic October 4-6, 2002;  CARUMBA, weaning filly winner of "Suitable to be a dressage horse" class;  CALLEBAULT, Reserve Champion Senior horse; COEUR DE CHASSE, Senior horse division Champion and 2nd in The Lieutenant-Governor's Cup.  Other winners by COEUR DE LION include; CHANSON DE COEUR, 2002 weaning filly winner of CSHA Futurity and CSHA Junior Horse Reserve Champion; COEUR D'AVION, a 2002 colt out of a pure bred Section "A", 11 HH welsh mare, 6th in the open colt weaning class; CHOCLAIR a 2001 filly Reserve Champion at the Summer Breeders Show.  The success of his offspring is making COEUR DE LION very popular, with 15 foals hitting the ground in 2002 and another 20 on the way for 2003.

Dam:  ALTA ROSE is the perfect mare for the sporthorse breeder looking for great temperament, athletic ability, and size.  ALTA ROSE has been approved CWBHA and CSHA and is in the main mare book for the ISR/Oldenburg of N.A.  Her 2003 filly scored a 7.5 at the ISR/Old inspection.  ALTA ROSE's grandsire, GOOD OLD MORT, sired both performance race horses, excellent hunters, jumpers, and Dressage horses, such as 1994 Canadian National Medium Champion, GOOD OLD CLYDE, and 1996 Canadian National Basic Dressage Champion, ARDAVAN.  ALTA ROSE raced sound for 8 years, winning $25,000 before retiring as a broodmare.  She has passed on her quiet temperament and great legs.

Notes:  CLAIRE DE LUNE, aka CLAIRE, is a bold jumper, a well shaped filly with a very pretty face, suitable for showing in dressage, jumper or hunter classes.  She lunges, and has had professional training for bitting, bridle and saddle.  Basic training was easy as she is very intelligent.  CLAIRE loads well, trailers calmly, ties very well, is good to bath or give her shots to.  Healthy, sound and perfect - a nice mare in a herd, kept outdoors, with very strong feet.  CLAIRE's strong performance pedigree will serve her well both for her own performance career and in the event she is bred to pass on her top class bloodlines.  She is also Canadian Performance Futurity nominated.
