Sire: ZANZIBAR II, Champion Stallion at two, is a
grandson of the legendary RAMIRO, the most influential Warmblood stallion
of our times. He is WBFSH ranked
number one for jumping stallions several times, with names like RATINA
Z, ROBIN Z and RINNATOU Z coming to mind.
ZANZIBAR’s sire ZEOLIET, himself an outstanding dressage horse,
sired international horses in both dressage and jumping.
On his dam side, starting with his Thoroughbred grand dam, a former
competition mount for Mark Laskin, his pedigree is all performance. During his Stallion Performance Test, ZANZIBAR received high rideabilty
scores, which, coupled with his tremendous jumping ability and excellent
gaits, made him a superior young sire prospect. ZIPPITY DO DA is from his first foal crop. Dam: GABRINA is one of the first Canadian foals
by CWHBA foundation sire FANTAST. She
is out of an imported Dutch Warmblood mare.
GABRINA is a large mare, reminiscent of her close relative BIG
BEN, with big gaits and an excellent temperament.
All of her offspring are easy to work with and have outstanding
athletic ability. Notes: ZIPPITY DO DA, aka ZIPP, is an attractive gelding
with a handsome profile under saddle.
He is a calm, quiet, uncomplicated and personable student having
been a pleasure to ride and work with thus far.
He demonstrates elastic gaits for the dressage ring and has shown
talent, as expected from his pedigree, through the chute. ZIPP would be very suitable for an Adult Amateur
rider or a Junior seeking a talented young horse with a bright future. |
