Sire:  URYMATE DE STE HERMELLE competed internationally in show jumping to CSIO successfully.  He is the sire of an internationally ranked show jumper and is related to recent Olympic competitors in all 3 disciplines.  He possesses exceptional conformation, presence and pedigree.  URYMATE DE STE HERMELLE was imported to Canada in 2000 and is listed in the 2000 German Yearbook of Breeding with two successful sons.  URYMATE has such horses as FURIOSO, ALME Z, ULTIMATE, AND PLEIN D’ESPOIRS in his lineage.

Dam:  HIGHLAND FLING is by WODAN, and is the first filly out of SALTY.  SALTY has produced a number of successful horses.  VINCENCIO, 1st premium in CWHBA Field Test and 4 year old CWHBA Material Champion, has become the stable favorite at the farm in New Jersey where he now resides,  recently winning a Medal Stake Class for a Young rider.  LOCHINVAR was winner of the 3 year old CWHBA Material Class and Grand Champion of first ever Alberta Free-Jumping Championships in 2003.  DR SULTAN, a full brother to HIGHLAND FLING, is a winner of the Invitational Young Horse Three Bars competition at the 2003 CWHBA Fall Sale.

Notes:  ULYSSES II is an eye-catching bay with a strip and 4 ankles on a correct and well-conformed package.  He definitely attracts attention!  ULYSSES has a good attitude and wants to please, but with enough spirit to really be a show stopper!  His nomination to the Canadian Young Horse Performance Futurity is current.
