Eligibility
1.
Horses eligible for nomination must be registered Canadian
Warmblood or registered in the "foal" or "general"
book with one of the following: Baden-Wurttemburg, Dutch
Warmblood, Hannoverian, Hessen, Holstein, Oldenburg, Rheinland,
Rheinland-Pfalz-Saat, Swiss Warmblood, Swedish Warmblood,
Danish Warmblood, Westfalian, American Hannoverian, Belgian
Warmblood, Weilkopolski, Trakehner, Selle Francais, or,
in the case of Thoroughbred, Arab, or Anglo-Arab horses
be a:
a. Mare that has been inspected and entered into the CWHBA
Stud Book and confirmed to be in foal by a Stallion that
is licensed or approved by the CWHBA.
b. Stallion that has been inspected and entered in the
CWHBA Stud Book.
2. Horse must be Canadian born, except in the case of
broodmares.
3. Performance horses (Section B) must be 8 years and
under. Broodmares (Section A) must be 15 years and under.
4. Owner must be a CWHBA member in good standing.
5. For Warmblood Registered horses, nominated horse must
be the offspring of a Stallion licensed or approved by
a recognized Warmblood registry OR the offspring of a
Mare inspected by a recognized Warmblood registry.
6. Pregnant mares must meet breed eligibility requirements
and be covered by a stallion entered in the CWHBA studbook.
You will be required to confirm pregnancy within 21 days
prior to the sale.
