Sire: WAGNER is a son of the immortal GOTTHARD. GOTTHARD raised the standards for the
Hanoverian breed as the sire whose offspring won the largest sum of money in the show jumping
arena. He was also the producer of the largest number of Grand Prix show jumpers at the time.
WAGNER was one of his first licensed sons and was Champion Stallion of his year. He remained in
Germany, standing at the State Stud, until he had produced 6 approved sons and over 600 foals. He
then was brought to his owners, Spruce Meadows, where he produced many more superior sport
horses.

Dam: WHITNEY is an extraordinary mare who was imported into Canada in 1993. She carries an Elite
Mare Status and passes her talent, outstanding disposition, and conformation on to her offspring. Her
first foal, GREAT BEGINNINGS, ridden by Jim Ifko, is doing well in the 4' jumpers and was named
Canadian Champion Hanoverian Mare at Spruce Meadows last fall.

Notes: WARSTEINER is a branded Hanoverian gelding. He is large, expressive, impressive, and bold. He is elegant, with exceptional movement and possesses a kind and willing nature. A true athlete - ready to pursue a career in the show ring.
