| Sire: | GOODWILL was imported to Canada where he entered an exemplary career as a hunter, earning |
over $10,000. His offspring have performed well in Germany in both dressage and show jumping. In
Canada, he stood as a stallion at Spruce Meadows, producing many quality offspring including
GEISHA (1987), who received the top award for Hanoverian mares during the 1990 inspection at
Spruce Meadows, as well as first place at the 1990 Alberta Horse Improvement Program. Another
offspring, GIZMO, was the top selling sport horse filly at the 1993 Spruce Meadows Auction and
now resides in Japan. GOODWILL's breeding includes the impressive lines of LUGANO I and
DOMGRAFF II.
| Dam: | WIEBKE was imported from Germany by the Beck's as a yearling. She was by the renowned |
stallion, WATZMANN, who founded a line of jumping horses.
| Notes: | GENERATION, aka GENNY, was bred and raised at Shirehampton Farms in Leduc. She is a |
double branded, Verband registered Hanoverian. She was started as a three year old and has
evented successfully to the training level in Alberta, BC, and the USA. More recently she has spent
three years in a competitive jumping stable and been shown at the 3'9" level by her amateur owner.
GENERATION has good handling manners on the ground (she prefers carrots!). Her good, fluid
movement show well in dressage but her forte is jumping, where she is a willing and aggressive
competitor in the ring. GENERATION combines the drive and endurance of her Thoroughbred
lineage with the movement , athleticism, and grace of the Hanoverian.
