Sire:

WODAN is a branded Hanoverian stallion who is registered with five different breed associations in Germany. Prior to his export to Canada, he was a successful International Grand Prix jumper. Among his victories is the prestigious win at the indoor Grand Prix in Vienna under Frankie Sloothaak WODAN has proven to be an excellent breeding stallion by siring several successful sport horses including: WEMBLAY, WALHALLA, WALZER, TUSCALUSA, WALLENTINAL, and WODYNA, all having competed at International Grand Prix level in jumping or dressage.

Dam:

SALTY is an unregistered mare that displays the color, refined head, and other physical characteristicsof the Thoroughbred stallion, GREY DAWN II. If she is not a daughter of that particular sport horse ancestor, she could well be one of his granddaughters.

DR SULTAN is a magnificent mover - the kind that draws your eye just as he walks across the pasture! He is our second foal out of SALTY. Her oldest foal, VINCENCIO, now five years old, was declared the four-year-old material champion of Alberta at the 2000 Breeders Show last year. “VINNIE”, as we call him, draws attention at every event or show that he attends, and we believe SULTAN will have the same type of “show-stopper” effect. SULTAN was straightforward to start under saddle, never raising any commotion. This gelding free-jumps with all the style and scope that he displays on the flat, and should do superbly at whatever discipline is your aim.
