Sire:
FILS DE LULLY competed as an eventer and descends from successful jumping and dressage lines. His sire, FILOU, is also the sire of FABRIZIO DU MOULIN, a grand prix jumper, and is related to SILBERSEE, a strong influence for jumping. FILS DE LULLY’s broodmare sire is a son of the extremely influential FURIOSO II, a force in nearly every breed of sporthorse.

Dam:

ELLA III, like FILS DE LULLY, descends from some of the most influential Selle Francais bloodlines- URIEL, IBRAHIM, PLEIN D’ESPOIRS, and PORTE BONHEUR. She actually has 3 of the same ancestors as FILOU.

Notes:

This BIG gelding is the oldest male offspring of ELLA III, a mare whose three oldest fillies have all scored premium at a Canadian Warmblood Inspection. DUKE OF EARL is the full brother to theoldest of these ELLA daughters, LILLY ANN, who achieved a First Premium when inspected as a three-year-old. EARL has superficial scars on the outsides of both hocks and one of his hips from bedsores he got as a baby when he was born premature and unable to get up on his own for several days. It’s easy to see that he’s "grown out of" any problems associated with his "earl"y start. Here’s a big, good looking guy who wants to be everyone’s best friend - out in the pasture he’s more likely to catch you than the other way around. He was easy to start under saddle and has the movement as well as the jumping style and power to "do it all".
