Sire:

KELLIANA JAY was a Quarter Horse stallion born and raised in Northern Alberta. In 1994 he wasbought by the Weitzel Family, Crystal Springs Ranch, BC to breed ranch horses. He was a very elegant looking chestnut colored Quarter Horse with a quiet disposition. He was sound, had good conformation, and a good attitude towards work. For his good characteristics we bred our Warmblood mare, EVA, to him.

Dam:

EVA, a chestnut colored Hessen mare (Germany), born May 1987, was imported into Canada in
1990. She is a member of a horse family we have been raising in our family for more than 60 years.
Her Hanoverian and Trakehner bloodlines carry a double relationship to the famous Trakehner stallion
HUMBOLDT. This line consistently produces horses who display good rideability, good mind,
quiet disposition, and solid build. Back in Germany we raised many good sport horses out of EVA's
family who are now competing in jumping, dressage, cross-country, and fox hunting. In BC, EVA
gave birth to one filly (Quarter Horse type mare who performs well in ranch work), and four stud
colts. This year we are breeding her again to DALNOMER, a Russian Trakehner, and next year we
are hopeful that she will give birth to a filly to continue the family tradition of breeding this horse line.

Notes:

NORTH WIND turned out as an excellent mixture between different bloodlines. Born and raised on Crystal Springs Ranch in Northern BC, he looks well and healthy, shows a great attitude towards work, and moves with three rhythmic, elastic, and ground covering gaits. Started by his owner and trained by a professional rider during one winter, he showed his ability to learn easily and quickly and is always willing to give his best. NORTH WIND loads easily into the trailer and travels well. His owner will show him for the auction.
