Sire: BLUE RODEO is from the well known Trakehner blood lines of DONAUWIND, GUNNAR,
IMPULS, and HARNISCH. His dam, a DONAUWIND granddaughter, stands 17HH and has a
wonderful temperament. BLUE RODEO’s sire, SCHWALBENHERBST, is the only approved
improvement sire in NA with the original bloodlines of the East-Prussian Trakehner. He is approved
by the German Verband as well as 4 other national and international registries. As a 2 year old he
was GERMAN PREMIER, and at age 3 finished the rigorous German 3-day stallion testing as 3rd.
He received remarkable notes for Dressage and Jumping. He sired many horses in Germany,
including a Reserve champion of the Prix St.Georges.
Dam: COPPER TAFFY is a Thoroughbred mare who has consistently produced horses with exceptional
rideablilty and talent over fences. Her sire, ARCHIE WHO, is a well know hunter/jumper sire.
Almost all of her offspring have found themselves in homes with junior riders. WUNDERKIND, her
son by RUBIN, was the 1998 year end award winner for hunter in Canada with the Canadian
Trakehner Horse Society. Another RUBIN son, CALEB has been very successful in the Peace area
with a Junior C rider and is now competing A-circuit dressage with his young rider. CAZANOVIA,
another son by BLUE RODEO, won the silver medal at the Alberta Summer games this past July with
his young rider. All these horses have superb rideability and wonderful easy going temperaments,
making them ideal mounts for junior and amateur riders.
Notes: CHLOE, an eye catching, athletic young mare, is a dark bay with four white socks. She loves people
and has a quiet temperament. She has lovely free movement and classic hunter form over fences.
CHLOE’s sire, BLUE RODEO, is both a talented dressage horse and jumper. He won his first
dressage championship at his first A-circuit show as a 4 year old. He went to the Canadian National
Dressage Championships for disabled riders as a 6 year old gelding, where he won the silver medal
and was the overall high point champion. He has an incredible temperament and superb rideability.
He is currently competing successfully on the hunter circuit and is being shown locally by a 12 year old
rider. All siblings of CHLOE have been successful with junior riders and she is definitely suitable for
a junior or amateur. She is well started under saddle and ready for the show ring.
