Eligibility

1) Horses eligible for nomination must be registered Canadian Warmblood or registered with one of the following: Baden-Wurttemburg, Dutch Warmblood, Hanoverian, Hessen, Holstein, Oldenburg, Rheinland, Rheinland-Pfalz-Saat, Swiss Warmblood, Swedish Warmblood, Danish Warmblood, Westfalian, American Hanoverian, Belgian Warmblood, Weilkopolski, Trakehner, Selle Francais, or, in the case of Thoroughbred, Arabian, or Anglo-Arabian horses be a:
a) Mare that has been inspected and entered into the CWHBA Stud Book and bred to a Stallion that is licensed or approved by the CWHBA.
b) Stallion which has been inspected and entered in the CWHBA Stud Book.
2) Owner must be a CWHBA member in good standing.
3) In the case of Warmblood Registered horses, nominated horse must be the offspring of a Stallion licensed or approved by a recognized Warmblood registry or the offspring of a Mare inspected by a recognized warmblood registry.
4) Pregnant mares must meet breed eligibility requirements and are required to confirm pregnancy status within 21 days prior to the sale.
5) Notwithstanding the above Eligibility Criteria, any horse purchased at a previous Fall Classic Breeders Sale may be consigned by the original purchaser to the 2000 Sale.
