Chairman's Message
This
year's sale shows the growth in the warmblood breeding industry
in Canada. As you read through the catalog you will find more
performance horses than ever, world class pedigrees, and horses
with more advanced training. Buyers should attend this sale with
glee as it presents a wonderful opportunity to shop for your
next horse, whether it is a producer or performance horse. This
offering indicates the depth of the Canadian Warmblood Industry.
This event is a joining ground for buyers and sellers, allowing
convenient shopping with a large offering of suitable horses
for all purposes.
A
new ground has been broken in this, our millennium sale, with
a licensed stallion that has attended his stallion approval.
Olds, Alberta has been the scene of the first 30-day stallion
test in North America. Barabas has attended this test and, at
the time of this writing, is in his first week of participation.
Consignors having the confidence to offer stallions of quality
indicate the growth and acceptance of our sale. Buyers should
have confidence that they are buying quality, prepared by breeders
for purchase.
